Sustainable Design

JSA is LEED Accredited through the U.S. Green Building Council and is ready to assist you either in gaining certification for your Building or Project, or simply design to these guidelines to the benefit of our environment.

JSA can analyze your existing building and provide a series of suggestions to save energy on your building. For example, we can list items such as light fixtures, window shades, added insulation, etc and the effect it would have on your energy bill and environment.

Sustainable Design

Buildings designed to conserve energy are naturally warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, an ideal that makes for a nicer place to live. Just like the computer models allows us see how a design may vary from any angle, the computer model allows us to survey different energy use in different designs.

An often over-looked aspect of green building is the reutilization of materials. At JSA, we specify and have a responsibility to use materials in an effective and beautiful way. Not only does reusing old materials avoid the toxic chemicals used in the manufacturing process, but gives a second chance for materials to be used in a new way.
